When I Get To Feel This Way

When I get to feel this way

Something in me says, damn glad I don’t know a little bit more.

And I don’t take offence, when a job don’t make no sense

‘Cause those engineers stay locked behind their doors

That’s why I’m sometimes chasin’ welds in a place that passes for a hell

In a town at the end of the world yah

You wanna talk about feelin’ rough

Good God I believe I’ve had enough

And I don’t care if a pass this way again

Well we’ll take this unit down fix it up this turnaround

The GF feels he’s got a pretty good crew

The job it don’t get done by just anyone

It takes welders, fitters, oh and riggers too

The scaffold gods they set the stage

Boiler hogs they earn their wage,

And the pipe fitters got to lay a line or two

Iron workers walk the steel, while mill wrights they set the wheel

And the brickies got refractory work to do.

There’s girls in every place

That are glad to see our face

Long as we got lots of cash to spend

It’s just a week or two

That we are passing through

Another year and we’ll be back again

That’s why I'm sometimes making welds

in a place that passes for a hell

In a town at the end of the world yah

You wanna talk about feelin’ rough

Good God I believe I’ve had enough

I don’t care if I pass this way again

This ones almost done, we’ll be on the run

Just waitin’ on the old inspection crew

X ray and QC tell me that it’s green

So lets fill this boiler up with H2O

And now were hopin’ that the hydro’s dry

We’ll pack our tools be on the fly

And off we go to do another one

You wanna talk about feelin’ rough

Good God I believe I’ve had enough

And I don’t care if we pass this way again

When I get to feel this way

Something in me says

Damn, glad I don’t know a little bit more

And I don’t take offence, when a job don’t make no sense

But those engineers stay locked behind their doors

That’s why I’m sometimes chasin’ welds in a place that passes for a hell

In a town at the end of the world yah

You wanna talk about feelin’ rough,

Good God I believe I’ve had enough

And I don’t care if I pass through

I don’t care is I pass through

I don’t care if a pass through here again.
